In view of this, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Customs General Administration and the General Administration of the Environmental Protection of PRC have jointly declared an official notice which specifies a list of 'prohibited wastes for importing to China' (the 4th batch and 5th batch) as effective from Aug 15, 2002. All the parties
concerned are advised to pay special attention to this matter. In case
any of the prohibited wastes are found, the China competent authorities
