Introduction

CCC (China Compulsory Certification or 3C) is a mandatory requirement imposed on certain products sold in China market. In 2001, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of China published “The First Catalogue of Products Subject to China Compulsory Certification” and all products listed in the catalogue must obtain the certification before they can be sold in China. 3C was not taken into effect until May 1st of 2003.

CQC (China Quality Certification Centre) is an organization authorized by the Chinese government to carry out the “CCC” certification in China.

CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration) is a Chinese government organization that oversees and supervises the implementation of the laws and regulations of 3C.

CCC Consultation and Agency Services of CCIC North America Inc.

Scope of Work:
  • Initiate the application process on customers’ behalf,

  • Communicate with CQC and provide feedbacks to customers,

  • Provide translation service for application materials upon request from the applicant,

  • Regularly monitoring and communicating with customers on the application progress,

  • Initiate the Type Testing application on customers' behalf and arrange the sample material(s) to be sent to the designated laboratory,

  • Communicate with the designated laboratory and provide feedbacks to customers on the test result(s),

  • Initiate application for Plant Audit process on customers’ behalf,

  • Arrange and coordinate with CQC on the Plant Audit;

  • Coordinate with CQC, CNCA, or AQSIQ on any nonconformity issues found at the Plant Audit,

  • Convey the nonconformity issues to customers and communicate with CQC on corrective action plan received from customers to address these issues,

  • Provide CCC marks to customers whose plant (or product) passes the final CQC evaluation.
