Designed for the Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) this course meets the FDA requirements for FSMA training. A PCQI is a professional who can manage a Food Safety Plan at a facility in accordance with the U.S. FDA’s Food Safety Modernization Act. This person should have successfully completed training in the development and application of risk-based preventive controls. Join us for this 2.5 day training program that has been designed and developed by the Food Safety Preventative Controls Alliance (FSPCA) for the PCQIs in the food and beverage industry.

GARY HUDDLESTON
Gary Huddleston is the American Feed Industry Association’s director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs. He joined the association in May 2015 and has more than 30 years of service in manufacturing. Huddleston manages AFIA’s efforts surrounding regulatory issues involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Transportation. He also works to develop and coordinate AFIA’s education and training programs. Huddleston is the staff contact for the Equipment Manufacturers and Production Compliance committees.
JASON WAN
Dr. Jason Wan is the Associate Director for the Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH), and Associate Chair and Professor of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). In addition to his roles with IFSH and IIT, Dr. Wan serves on the Steering Committee of the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), as well as on a number of subcommittees of the Alliance, including Editorial, Implementation, and International subcommittees. Dr. Wan served as a supervisor for over 10 Ph.D. and numerous M.S. students, and is an author of over 200 scientific publications and invited conference presentations.
PHILLIPS RICHARD
Phillips Richard services general manager of Department Agriculture & Food of China Certification and Inspection Group (CCIC) North America. He, as a Lead Instructor ( Cert. No.: c560e2e0, Cert.No.: ae51f5c4) FSPCA for human and Animal food course and FSVP ( Cert.No.: 292a9af6), has hosted the training course in China, Los Angeles and Mexico. Since 2007, Richard has been business coordinator of Agriculture products and food between U.S. and China. In his position, he oversee and manager all field operations related to food and feed certification and inspection before shipment between North America( USA, Canada and Mexico) and China. He received his B.A of biology science from the Xiamen Aquatic college of Jimei University in China, 1986 , M.S. in Marin Biology Science from graduated institute of Xiamen University in 1988.
